May Mission Month is a special time as we spend time focussing on mission throughout our church. There will be multiple ways that we’ll be focussing on missions including:

Sunday 4th May at our 9am service we will be launching May Mission Month with guest speaker Scott Pilgrim, the CEO of Baptist Mission Australia (BMA). BMA does a tremendous job sharing God's love through local community transformation, passionate missional leadership and innovative partnerships worldwide. We want to celebrate BMA and particularly acknowledge the Harland family from our church community who have been serving for 10 years in Thailand through BMA!

Sunday 18th May at both 9am and 5pm services we will be hearing from Jazz Cooper who has been teaching in Ethiopia through SIM Australia since January 2025. Jazz is a much loved young adult from our church with an amazing heart for mission and we are excited that SIM has requested she continue her work in Ethiopia through to at least the middle of 2026. Jazz needs our support to continue her placement there and if you would like to know more of her story click here.

Sunday 25th May we will be having an International Lunch where we encourage anyone capable to do so to bring a bowl/plate of food to share after our 9am service. This has been a beautiful time of community in the past where we can celebrate our cultural diversity over delicious food.

Saturday 31st May all are invited to experience a 'Trip to Zambia’ to highlight the work of Eagles Wings through a marketplace experience with dinner, stalls, music and drumming. This event is sure to be an entertaining night not to be missed, starts 5:30pm-6pm and will conclude at 9pm.
