Each year churches around the world gather around the first Friday in March for an ecumenical service, prepared and written by women from the focus country.  This can be an amazing and empowering experience for them.

This year our church will be hosting the local gathering, hearing stories from the Women of the Cook Islands, praying for them, with an offering taken up which will support the special Bible Society project prepared for, and designed by the Cook Islanders.

Supper will be provided and this is a great opportunity to meet others from churches around our area. If you are inclined to do so, it’s very appropriate to dress in ‘Tropical Island’ colours and clothes!
